About IIT
The sixth member of the IIT fraternity, the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, was founded in 1994, and its academic program began in 1995. The institute has 11 departments, 7 interdisciplinary academic centres, and 5 schools.
About NSDC
The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), established in 2008 under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), empowers India’s youth through skill development. NSDC since its inception has been collaborating with multiple institutions, partners, business, financial intermediaries etc., , thereby creating synergies to expand the skill ecosystem. It is committed to bringing in new and innovative products to the market, ensuring holistic and sustainable growth of the skill ecosystem .NSDC Academy, a division of NSDC, supports enterprises, start-ups, and Higher Education and Institutes of National Importance through Micro Credit Certifications, Future Skills Centers, and addressing skill gaps to enhance employability, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP). As a strategic partner in the Skill India Mission, it helps bridge industry demands and future trends, driving national growth.
