Maven Silicon Partners with iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee
In a strategic move to strengthen India’s semiconductor education ecosystem, Maven Silicon signed an MoU with iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee, a Technology Innovation Hub under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS).
This collaboration marks the launch of Executive Certification Programs in VLSI, co-developed with IIT Roorkee’s innovation hub. These programs are specifically designed to upskill engineering professionals with advanced knowledge and practical skills in cutting-edge VLSI technologies, aligning directly with the evolving needs of the semiconductor industry.
By integrating IIT Roorkee’s research-driven academic environment with Maven Silicon’s industry expertise, this partnership aims to build a highly skilled, future-ready semiconductor workforce capable of driving India’s technological aspirations under the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
Maven Alumni Conference (MAC) 2025: Uniting Minds, Celebrating Excellence
September 20, 2025 | Bengaluru
MAC 2025 was a milestone event that brought together the Maven Silicon professional community under one roof. With Wipro as the Platinum Sponsor, the event witnessed enthusiastic alumni and distinguished industry guests.
The conference featured inspiring keynote addresses by Mr. Sivakumar P R, Founder & CEO of Maven Silicon, and Dr. Vijaykumar, Chief Architect/General Manager and Distinguished Member at Wipro, who shared their perspectives on the evolving semiconductor landscape in the age of AI. Mr. Sivakumar spoke on “Maven Silicon: Finishing School to COE”, tracing the company’s journey from a finishing school to a Centre of Excellence in semiconductor education and innovation.
Two insightful panel discussions stole the spotlight. The Industry Panel, titled “AI-Driven Chip Design: How Will Roles of Engineers Evolve?”, explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping traditional VLSI roles and what future skills will be essential. In the Alumni Panel, titled “From Engineer to Tech Leader: What It Takes to Lead in the AI-driven Semiconductor Industry”, seasoned alumni shared their journeys from technical roles to strategic leadership positions.
The event concluded with an Awards and Recognition Ceremony, honouring alumni who have made significant contributions to the semiconductor industry. MAC 2025 proved to be more than an event, it was a celebration of innovation, leadership, and community.
Corporate Training and Technical Upskilling: Building High-Impact Teams

Key Training Highlights:
- Training for World’s Largest OEM in Mobility Solutions Delivered RTL Design and Design Verification training for 50+ new college graduates, ensuring project readiness from day one.
- Training for Leading Global Semiconductor & Product Engineering Firm Conducted advanced training for 25+ experienced engineers on Low Power Verification using UPF, enhancing their ability to handle complex low-power SoC designs.
- Offline Workshop for Global Leader in Engineering and R&D Services Conducted a RISC-V IP Verification workshop for 70+ experienced engineers, focusing on industry-relevant practices and real-world applications.
- Online Workshop for Technology Consulting Company Specializing in Semiconductor Design Hosted a RISC-V IP Design workshop for 60+ senior engineers, featuring interactive, instructor-led sessions, equipping them with practical design techniques and accelerating their deployment into RISC-V-based projects.

Industry Spotlight: Shaping the Future at Semicon India and DVCon 2025
Maven Silicon continued to strengthen its presence at the forefront of the semiconductor ecosystem with active participation in two of the most influential industry events this quarter: Semicon India 2025 and DVCon India 2025.
At Semicon India, our Founder and CEO Mr. Sivakumar P R, along with the Maven Silicon leadership team, attended the prestigious event and had the honour of witnessing the Prime Minister’s keynote address on India’s semiconductor roadmap. During the networking session, the team held insightful discussions with CXOs and senior leaders from leading global and Indian semiconductor companies, focusing on innovation, collaboration, and talent development.
At DVCon India 2025, Mr. Sivakumar delivered a compelling keynote address on the topic “AI-powered Chip Design: Spec to Silicon”, highlighting how AI is transforming the entire chip design lifecycle. The address sparked significant interest among industry participants, especially in Maven Silicon’s advanced educational programs. Many organizations expressed strong interest in the Executive MTech in VLSI Design offered in collaboration with PES University and the Executive Certification in VLSI developed with iHUB, IIT Roorkee.

- Project-Based Workshop on Smart Home with Embedded Systems: Enabled 325+ students to build practical applications with embedded technologies.
