Have Doubts?FAQs

Are sessions live or recorded?
Both. The program combines scheduled live instructor-led sessions with a recorded library for revision. Timings are set to accommodate working professionals.
Do I need prior VLSI or chip design experience?
No. Semester 1 builds from the ground up — digital design fundamentals through HDL. Applicants with Maven certifications can fast-track through foundational modules.
What EDA tools will I have access to?
Cadence (Virtuoso, Innovus, Xcelium), Synopsys (Design Compiler, VCS), Mentor / Siemens EDA (Questa, ModelSim), and Altera Quartus Prime for FPGA. Tool access is provided from the start of the program.
Is the degree recognised in India?
Woolf is an internationally licensed institution. The MS degree is ECTS-accredited and accepted globally for employment and further study, similar to degrees from other foreign universities. Note: Woolf is not listed as a UGC/AICTE-recognised foreign institute.
