Launch of Advanced Certification in IC Packaging & Manufacturing
We introduced the Advanced Certification in IC Packaging & Manufacturing at the IESA Vision Summit 2026, in collaboration with iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee, and Siemens, in the presence of leading industry stakeholders.
This reflects the growing importance of advanced packaging technologies, system integration approaches, and back-end semiconductor processes in the global industry landscape. The program is designed to support structured learning in these evolving domains through strong academic-industry alignment and applied learning exposure.
Learners will benefit from direct learning sessions led by IIT faculty and industry experts, industry masterclasses delivered by practicing packaging engineers, and an industry-aligned capstone project built around real-world use cases. The program also offers flexible online delivery tailored for working professionals and graduates, along with a 2-day campus immersion experience at IIT Roorkee and opportunities for peer networking with India’s growing semiconductor talent community.
A key outcome of this program is the creation of a focused learning pathway that reflects how packaging and manufacturing technologies are increasingly shaping next-generation semiconductor systems and evolving industry requirements.

Academic Excellence Partnership: NSDC and CREST, BITS Pilani
Through this partnership, the SystemVerilog for Verification Certification Program has been introduced to build structured competency in modern verification methodologies and industry-aligned validation practices. The program offers participants the opportunity to learn directly from BITS Pilani faculty, engage in applied learning through an industry-relevant capstone project, and experience a campus immersion at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
The program focuses on developing a strong conceptual and practical foundation in SystemVerilog-based verification, enabling learners to understand testbench architecture, functional verification flows, and coverage-driven approaches that are widely adopted in semiconductor development environments.
A key highlight of this program is its ability to integrate academic depth with applied verification learning, supporting more industry-relevant preparation for evolving roles in design validation.

Premier Academic Alliance: IITM Pravartak
Our collaboration with IITM Pravartak represents a strategic academic-industry partnership aimed at advancing foundational and applied learning in semiconductor design and embedded systems with a strong focus on industry-relevant skill development.
Through this collaboration, professional certification programs in VLSI Design & Verification and Embedded Systems Design have been introduced to enable structured academic engagement with core semiconductor engineering disciplines.
These programs are designed for engineers and include hands-on labs, access to industry-grade tools, a capstone project, and a campus immersion experience at IIT Madras, along with direct learning from IIT Madras faculty. The programs build strong foundations in semiconductor fundamentals, system architecture, and embedded computing while progressing toward applied engineering practices aligned with industry needs, bridging academic learning with practical semiconductor system perspectives.
Highlighting the need for such training, Dr. Shankar Raman, CEO, IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation, said, “At IITM Pravartak, our focus is on catalysing innovation and high-quality talent development in Cyber-Physical Systems and allied domains. These programs create a scalable and accessible pathway for working professionals to upskill in critical semiconductor and embedded technologies, which form the basis for Cyber-Physical Systems, aligned with industry needs and national priorities.”
